After years of creating projects that combine classical music with cinematic production, contemporary visuals, and innovative concert formats, CLASICK CROSSOVER REVOLUTION arrives before the Zagreb audience – an original multimedia project by pianist and composer Matej Meštrović.
The name CLASICK deliberately merges the word classical with the energy of a modern crossover approach. Because that is precisely the idea behind the project – to preserve the beauty and power of classical music while presenting it to audiences in a way that belongs to the 21st century.
Featuring live piano performances, percussion by Borna Šercar, spectacular video projections, live camera work, and specially designed multimedia production, the audience can expect an evening where Mozart, Vivaldi, film music, crossover interpretations, and original compositions come together.
CLASICK CROSSOVER REVOLUTION is conceived not as a traditional concert, but as a musical journey. Each composition has its own story, atmosphere, and visual world. Music, imagery, and emotion merge into a unique experience that blurs the boundaries between the concert hall and the silver screen.
A special guest for the evening will arrive from the United States. Matthew Mayer, a Billboard-charting artist and one of the most successful new age pianists of his generation, will join the project as the international guest of this unique Zagreb event.
The word Revolution in the title is no coincidence. It represents the idea that classical music can exist beyond established boundaries, reach new audiences, and tell its story through the contemporary language of production, visual art, and live performance.
CLASICK CROSSOVER REVOLUTION is an invitation for audiences to step, for one evening, into a world where tradition and the future meet, where concert and cinema converge, and where classical music embraces contemporary energy.
The concert is supported by the Zagreb Tourist Board, the City of Zagreb, Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, and Večernji list.
