We play, we sing, we dream, we reflect, and we create. We add colour where everything seems grey, sound where silence reigns, and brilliance even when it seems nowhere to be found. In short: we love, we love, we love.
Musicians are often described as dreamers, idealists, people who inhabit a world of their own, with music as the centre of their universe. Where does this love of music come from, particularly of classical music, which many find incomprehensible, challenging, and complex? This is what we explore at the concert I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Now in its 18th concert season, the Music Pathways concert series once again opens its stage to outstanding young musicians.
At I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!, now a traditional event in the Music Pathways concert series, the musicians perform works of their own choosing while also sharing glimpses of their personal associations and thoughts. In doing so, they invite the audience into the magical world of classical music.
